Fast moving QA manual & Automation Engineer
Join the QA team responsible for validating Akamai's GPA client across Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. The team develops automation, maintains CI/CD pipelines, and delivers high-quality releases for enterprise security solutions.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining automated test solutions using Python across multiple operating systems.
- Designing reusable automation frameworks using abstraction layers and scalable architecture.
- Creating automation tools using Python, Groovy, and CLI scripts. Ensuring robust automation frameworks.
- Performing manual testing, creating test plans, and documenting new feature validation.
- Collaborating with development teams to investigate issues and improve product quality.
- Supporting DevOps activities, virtualization platforms, and testing environments.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have extensive experience developing automated tests using Python and modern testing frameworks.
- Be comfortable reading, understanding, and debugging production-quality application code.
- Be fully committed and notably available. Dedication to team and project success is required.
- Demonstrate experience designing maintainable automation frameworks using reusable abstractions.
- Possess hands-on experience creating manual test plans and executing complex validation scenarios.
- Have deep familiarity with Windows and macOS, with exposure to Linux environments.
