As a Cluster Receiving Clerk, you’re not just ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of goods and deliveries – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by supporting seamless hotel operations and helping deliver memorable experiences that make every guest’s stay exceptional
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Receive and inspect deliveries: Verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes, ensuring accuracy in quantity and quality.
- Maintain receiving records: Record all received goods promptly and accurately, ensuring proper documentation is completed and filed.
- Coordinate with departments: Work closely with Purchasing, Stores, and Accounts Payable to ensure smooth receiving and inventory processes.
- Resolve receiving discrepancies: Investigate and report shortages, damages, or incorrect deliveries, coordinating with suppliers and internal teams for resolution.
- Prepare receiving documentation: Issue and maintain receiving reports and supporting documents to ensure accurate inventory and financial records.
- Review daily deliveries: Audit daily receiving transactions to ensure compliance with company policies, purchasing agreements, and documentation requirements.
- Support inventory accuracy: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records by ensuring all received goods are properly recorded and transferred to the appropriate storage locations.
