Role Overview The Program Management, Operations, and Strategy (PMOS) team is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project/Program Manager to lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects that directly impact the development, implementation, and upgrade of cutting-edge systems, products, and technology platforms. As a critical contributor to Intel's innovation and strategic objectives, you will apply your expertise in one or more engineering domains to drive technical solutions, overcome challenges, and deliver high-value outcomes. In this role, you will work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless collaboration, optimize resources, and deliver results aligned with business and customer priorities. Your leadership and innovation will shape Intel's engineering efforts, ensuring we continue to deliver industry-leading solutions in a rapidly evolving marketplace. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage large-scale engineering projects and programs across diverse disciplines, such as chemical, electrical, hardware, industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, process, software, or technology platforms. - Collaborate with engineering, business, and leadership stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, deliverables, and interdependencies. - Drive strategic planning, schedule optimization, and resource allocation to achieve program milestones and organizational goals. - Identify and troubleshoot technical roadblocks, leveraging your expertise to guide teams in developing innovative solutions. - Provide transparency into project/program health, risks, and financial status through regular reviews with executives and department leads. - Deliver high-ROI products by understanding customer needs, usage patterns, and gaps in existing offerings. - Mentor and advise project/program management teams to enhance competencies and drive continuous improvement of project management processes. - Develop and implement innovative processes and procedures to advance engineering excellence within the organization.Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's or BS degree in an engineering-related field and a minimum of 6 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 4 years of experience, or a PhD with 2 years of experience managing engineering projects/programs. - Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools. - Demonstrated experience managing complex projects/programs in one or more engineering domains. - Expertise in leading cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and meet strategic goals. Preferred Qualifications - Strong communication, decision-making, and customer advocacy skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. - Proven track record of disciplined execution with the ability to prioritize deliverables in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in mentoring and guiding project management teams. - Familiarity with industry trends and a passion for developing innovative engineering solutions.
