As a Commercial Fence Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of commercial construction projects by preparing accurate estimates and pre-construction documentation. As a Commercial Fence Estimator, you will play a critical role in supporting the successful delivery of commercial construction projects by preparing accurate estimates and pre-construction documentation. You will be responsible for reviewing construction plans, performing detailed material takeoffs, and ensuring estimates are completed with precision and efficiency. Accountabilities:

    • Review civil, landscape, and construction plan sets to identify project scope and fencing requirements.
    • Perform accurate material takeoffs and quantity calculations for commercial construction projects.
    • Analyze drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare detailed and competitive project estimates.
    • Utilize Bluebeam and estimating software to mark up plans, organize project information, and support bid preparation activities.
    • Compile and maintain estimating data within designated estimating platforms and internal systems.
    • Assist with pre-construction activities, including the preparation of submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and project documentation for awarded contracts.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and ensure estimate accuracy.
    • Maintain organized project records and ensure all estimating deliverables are completed within required timelines.
    • Requirements:

      • Minimum of 3 years of experience estimating U.S. commercial construction projects.
      • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
      • Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze civil and landscape construction plans and specifications.
      • Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam and experience using digital plan review and markup tools.
      • Experience with estimating software platforms, preferably TRUE Estimating or similar systems.
      • Previous experience in commercial fencing, civil construction, or landscape construction estimating is highly desirable.
      • Familiarity with preparing RFIs, submittals, and pre-construction documentation.
      • Excellent analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail.
      • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and meeting deadlines.
      • Availability to work full-time during U.S. Central Time business hours.
