How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Support GI procedures by collaborating closely with gastroenterologists and the nursing team to ensure smooth, efficient patient care.

• Prepare specialized equipment, setting up high-definition endoscopes and GI accessories to ensure everything is operational and sterile.

• Assist during live interventions, providing the physician with the right tools—like biopsy forceps and snares—at the exact moment they need them.

• Ensure patient safety and comfort by assisting with the compassionate preparation, positioning, and transport of patients.

• Maintain strict infection control by carefully cleaning, testing, and managing delicate endoscopy instruments between procedures.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• One or more of the following required:
  
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Surgical Tech credentialed from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

What additional preferences we're seeking

Minimum of 2 years experience preferred.
