Delivery Management (Third-Party Oversight)-Healthcare Payments-Vice President
Help keep critical supplier engagements running smoothly, safely, and with clear accountability. In this role, you’ll guide third-party engagement activities end-to-end, partnering closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. You’ll strengthen controls, improve processes, and ensure supplier lifecycle requirements are consistently met. You’ll be trusted to navigate complex priorities and drive clear outcomes in a fast-moving environment.
As a Vice President, Delivery Management in Information Systems for our Healthcare Payments business, you will provide oversight for external supplier engagements across onboarding, steady-state operations, and offboarding. You will act as the business representative for third-party oversight requirements, partnering with internal teams to maintain accurate engagement records and ensure performance, controls, and lifecycle activities are executed consistently. You will report to the Head of Information Systems.
Job responsibilities
- Own third-party oversight obligations for assigned supplier engagements across the full lifecycle (onboarding through exit).
- Provide required engagement reference data during onboarding (e.g., nature of service, data types shared, application/service details).
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and interface directly with external suppliers.
- Monitor and document supplier performance in line with third-party oversight expectations.
- Maintain and document supplier exit plans in line with policy expectations.
- Complete annual recertification of engagement reference data to keep supplier records current.
- Participate as the line-of-business representative in supplier control assessments.
- Manage engagement changes and amendments through required internal update processes.
- Review and approve invoices and payments as needed.
- Support contract negotiations and renewals in partnership with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with application owners, Technology, and Risk & Controls partners regarding third-party applications as needed.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in portfolio management, supplier sourcing, third-party oversight, supplier management, and/or new business initiative approvals.
- Experience performing governance and oversight responsibilities with a strong control orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrix environment across organizational and geographic boundaries.
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, demand-driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, track, and maintain accountability for a portfolio of supplier engagements and required workflows.
- Experience or exposure to technology risk/control domains (e.g., vulnerability management, incident and event management, security operations, data protection, identity and access management).
- Ability to identify and implement process improvements and automation aligned to industry best practices.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Experience in supplier oversight services, procurement operations, supplier relationship and risk management, supplier onboarding, and performance monitoring.
- Experience partnering with internal supplier onboarding/support teams to complete engagement setup and reference data requirements.
- Experience supporting contract negotiation and renewals.
- Experience participating in supplier control assessments and responding to control-related requests.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; collaboration tooling experience (e.g., SharePoint).
- Experience using internal third-party engagement management tools.
- Experience using AI tools and automation to improve processes.
