This is a high-impact security engineering role focused on protecting large-scale, cloud-native systems through advanced cryptographic design and implementation. You will work at the core of distributed infrastructure processing massive event volumes, ensuring the integrity, confidentiality, and authenticity of systems and software used by global organizations. The role centers on building and maintaining cryptographic foundations such as TLS systems, key management, and certificate lifecycle automation. You will also help secure code signing pipelines and integrate Hardware Security Modules into production environments. Operating in a mission-driven cybersecurity context, you will collaborate closely with senior engineers across product and platform teams to strengthen security at scale. Accountabilities:

    • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cryptographic systems across distributed platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security at enterprise scale.
    • Manage full TLS lifecycle operations, including certificate authority management, certificate issuance, rotation, and protocol upgrades.
    • Develop and oversee secure code signing processes to guarantee software authenticity and integrity across release pipelines.
    • Integrate and manage Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) to secure cryptographic keys and strengthen system-level protections.
    • Build automation and scripting tools (e.g., Python, Bash, Go) to streamline cryptographic workflows and operational processes.
    • Lead cross-functional technical initiatives, coordinating with engineering, product, and security teams to deliver secure-by-design systems.
    • Stay current with advancements in cryptography and cybersecurity to continuously enhance organizational security posture and practices.
    • Requirements

      • 4+ years of professional experience applying cryptography in software engineering, cybersecurity, or product security environments.
      • Strong expertise in TLS lifecycle management, including certificate authority operations, key rotation, and secure protocol implementation.
      • Hands-on experience with code signing systems and securing software supply chains.
      • Proven experience working with Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and cryptographic key management at scale.
      • Deep understanding of cryptographic algorithms and standards such as AES, RSA, ECC, and SHA-2.
      • Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, Go, or similar languages.
      • Experience operating in large-scale Linux/Unix-based distributed environments with high availability requirements.
      • Familiarity with cloud-scale infrastructure and security best practices in complex production systems.
      • Preferred: experience leveraging AI tools to improve security workflows, automation, and engineering productivity.
