Family Medicine Temple Downtown Physician
Position Summary
Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Family Medicine Physician to join the Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Temple Downtown. This is a full-time, employed position within a physician-led, not-for-profit healthcare system. The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to patients of all ages.
Practice Overview
Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Temple Downtown provides comprehensive primary and preventive care to patients of all ages in Temple and the surrounding communities.
The clinic is supported by an experienced care team that includes:
- Family Medicine Physicians
- Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Working collaboratively, the care team develops personalized treatment plans that place patients at the center of their care. The clinic is dedicated to providing preventive care, wellness services, chronic disease management, and treatment of common acute illnesses while helping patients achieve their healthiest lives.
Essential Functions
- Provide comprehensive outpatient family medicine care to pediatric and adult patients.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions in accordance with evidence-based guidelines.
- Deliver preventive care services, including wellness exams, screenings, and immunizations.
- Collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers to support continuity and coordination of care.
- Document patient encounters accurately and timely in the electronic medical record per system standards.
- Participate in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Comply with Baylor Scott & White Health policies, procedures, and clinical protocols.

Qualifications
Required:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Licensed or eligible for licensure by the Texas Medical Board
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Family Medicine (ABMS or BOS)
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical environment
Preferred:
- Prior outpatient family medicine experience
