Accountabilities:

    The Assurance Manager / Audit Manager will oversee complex assurance engagements, ensure high-quality audit delivery, and provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic professional services environment.

    • Oversee multiple audit engagements, resolving complex legal, regulatory, accounting, and compliance matters throughout the audit lifecycle.
    • Develop engagement strategies, business plans, budgets, schedules, staffing plans, and workload assignments to ensure successful delivery.
    • Manage client relationships by understanding business needs, driving satisfaction, and providing trusted advisory support.
    • Apply advanced knowledge of accounting principles, auditing procedures, and regulatory frameworks to address complex client challenges.
    • Research and interpret accounting standards, including U.S. GAAP requirements, and provide practical recommendations.
    • Lead engagements involving complex financial reporting, multi-jurisdictional operations, tax considerations, and international business practices.
    • Advise clients on regulatory developments, risk management strategies, and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex client requirements and deliver effective solutions.
    • Mentor, coach, and develop audit professionals through feedback, training, and career guidance.
    • Foster an inclusive, collaborative team environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth.
    • Support proposal development and contribute to business development initiatives by understanding and promoting available services.
    • Champion digital collaboration, sustainable workplace practices, and efficient remote-first ways of working.
    • Maintain strong quality standards while supporting innovation and continuous improvement across assurance processes.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced audit professional with strong technical expertise, leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will have the ability to analyze complex information, communicate effectively, and guide teams through challenging engagements.

      • Licensed CPA or actively working toward CPA certification.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
      • 5+ years of public accounting experience across industries such as technology, life sciences, consumer products, financial services, or nonprofit organizations.
      • Experience auditing complex accounts, including areas such as revenue, inventory, equity, stock options, and other significant financial statement areas.
      • Previous experience supervising, leading, and developing audit teams.
      • Strong knowledge of U.S. accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks.
      • Experience managing complex engagements involving multiple jurisdictions and business environments.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify risks, and provide actionable recommendations.
      • Ability to synthesize research and technical findings into clear, practical deliverables.
      • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to understand client challenges and implement effective solutions.
      • Commitment to continuous learning, professional development, and staying current with industry changes.
      • U.S. accounting credentials may be required depending on role scope and client needs.
