Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Senior Talent Relations Manager to lead and own the talent relations strategy and execution across Brazil. This role will be the senior regional leader responsible for driving high-impact talent partnerships, shaping the "Home for Talent" positioning in one of Amazon's most important growth markets, and ensuring a world-class experience for on- and off-screen talent throughout the full lifecycle of Amazon Originals.
The Senior Talent Relations Manager will operate as a strategic partner to the Head of Talent Relations, LATAM and will be expected to independently own the Brazil talent ecosystem. This includes building and nurturing senior-level relationships with top-tier talent and their representatives, driving strategic initiatives that elevate Amazon's talent proposition, and representing the Talent Relations function in senior cross-functional conversations. The role requires a leader who can think long-term, influence without authority, and operate with full autonomy in a complex and dynamic market.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the Brazilian entertainment industry, has an established network of senior relationships, and demonstrates the strategic judgment needed to navigate high-stakes talent situations. They should be equally comfortable presenting to senior leadership as they are managing the details of a major talent activation.
Key job responsibilities
Own and drive the end-to-end talent relations strategy for Brazil, ensuring alignment with LATAM and global priorities while adapting to local market dynamics.
Serve as the senior point of contact and trusted advisor for top-tier talent, their agents, managers, publicists, and legal representatives in Brazil.
Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key industry players, agencies, production companies, and talent ecosystems to position Amazon MGM Studios as the premier home for talent in Brazil.
Lead talent engagement across all content lifecycle stages, from early development and production through launch, awards, and long-term franchise building.
Independently manage complex and sensitive talent situations, exercising sound judgment and escalating appropriately when needed.
Drive strategic initiatives that differentiate Amazon's talent experience, including bespoke talent programs, high-profile activations, and innovative engagement models.
Represent the Talent Relations function in senior cross-functional forums, providing strategic counsel to Marketing, PR, Creative, Production, and Content leadership on talent matters.
Develop data-driven insights on talent performance, engagement metrics, and regional opportunities to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
Lead the planning and execution of high-profile talent moments including premieres, press tours, industry events, awards campaigns, and cultural tentpole activations.
Manage complex stakeholder relationships across internal teams (Creative, Production, Marketing, PR, Social, Legal, Awards, Business Affairs) ensuring alignment on talent strategy and execution.
- Experience owning and executing the process to identify and attract talent for immediate business needs, as well as for critical long-term talent pipelines
- 8+ years of experience in talent relations, talent management, or senior entertainment marketing roles within the entertainment industry.
- Deep knowledge of the Brazilian entertainment industry, including key power players, agency landscape, production ecosystem, and cultural dynamics.
- Experience leading high-profile talent activations at scale (premieres, press tours, awards campaigns, major events).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese, English and Spanish.
- Experience creating and executing effective talent acquisition strategies
