Behind the user-friendly iOS and Android apps and webpage that work across the world is the engineering team.  We are in charge of creating, developing, improving, and maintaining all Fever services so that more people can have an amazing experience.

About the role

As a Lead Project Manager, you will lead and scale our Project Management function, ensuring the successful delivery of strategic technical initiatives while mentoring and developing a team of Digital Project Managers.

You will work at the intersection of Engineering, Product, Business and Operations, driving delivery excellence across multiple concurrent projects. Beyond leading complex initiatives yourself, you will establish best practices, improve delivery processes, coach Project Managers and provide visibility to senior leadership.

This role requires a strong combination of technical understanding, leadership, stakeholder management and operational excellence.

What you'll do

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Digital Project Managers.
  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews and career development conversations.
  • Support hiring, onboarding and coaching of new team members.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex delivery challenges.

Delivery Leadership

  • Lead high-impact technical and digital projects from inception to successful delivery.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, dependencies and risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with high quality.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Product, Design, Data and Business teams.

Portfolio & Process Management

  • Manage the overall project portfolio and resource allocation.
  • Prioritize initiatives together with senior stakeholders.
  • Identify cross-project dependencies and execution risks.
  • Define and continuously improve project management methodologies, standards and best practices.
  • Standardize project documentation, reporting and governance across the organization.
  • Improve delivery predictability and execution efficiency.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build trusted relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders.
  • Communicate project status, risks and mitigation plans to leadership.
  • Facilitate decision-making across multiple teams.
  • Translate technical concepts into business language for non-technical stakeholders.

Continuous Improvement

  • Define and monitor delivery KPIs and project health metrics.
  • Build dashboards and executive reporting.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and propose scalable solutions.
  • Drive process automation and continuous optimization.
  • Promote Agile best practices across the organization.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience managing technical or digital projects.
  • 3+ years leading or mentoring Project Managers.
  • Experience managing multiple complex software projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience working closely with Engineering and Product teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing project portfolios and resource planning.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent English.

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience in a fast-growing technology company or scale-up.
  • Experience leading distributed or international teams.
  • Technical background in Software Engineering, QA, DevOps or Solution Architecture.
  • Experience with API integrations and cloud-native platforms.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Prince2 or Scrum certifications.
  • Experience building project management frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Asana or similar project management tools.
  • Knowledge of OKRs, delivery metrics and executive reporting.
