The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing, and recruiting high-quality candidates for various positions within the organization. Working closely with hiring managers and HR business partners, the Talent Acquisition Specialist ensures that the recruitment process is efficient, effective, and aligned with the company's talent acquisition strategy. This role requires a strong understanding of employment laws and regulations, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage and evaluate potential candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic talent acquisition plans in collaboration with hiring managers and HR business partners.
Utilize various sourcing methods (job boards, social media, networking, etc.) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Screen resumes and applications to qualify candidates for open positions.
Conduct initial phone screens and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills, and cultural fit. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop compelling job descriptions.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interview scheduling, feedback coordination, and offer negotiation. Establish and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, universities, and professional networks.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment strategies and processes.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations throughout the recruitment and selection process.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities using applicant tracking systems or other HR software.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist or Recruiter. In-depth knowledge of various sourcing and recruiting techniques. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and HR databases.
