How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

We are looking for a dynamic and highly technical supervisor to take accountability for production and product delivery within our Secondary Production scope (Site/Region/Country). In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams covering operations, maintenance, and product compliance. You will bridge the gap between operational management and hands-on technical optimization, ensuring efficiency, safety, and quality across all cluster/country facilities.


 

Daily Plant Operations & Technical Support:

  • On-Site Support: Provides technical support to the production department to optimise equipment performance and reliability.

  • Active On-Site Presence: Maintains a dynamic, day-to-day presence on site to closely monitor plant performance, diagnose faults on site, identify process deviations and provide immediate technical support.

  • Process Control: Monitor and adjust critical variables in distillation and purification processes to ensure product purity and minimise losses.

  • Facilities Management: Supervise the various product transfer facilities.

Process Design, Engineering & Documentation:

  • Specifications & Design: Designs and drafts specifications for new installations or modifications to existing ones.

  • Technical Diagrams: Develop, interpret and update P&ID diagrams and PFDs.

  • Functional Analyses: Draft detailed functional analyses describing the operational logic of the equipment, enabling the automation teams to configure the PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).

  • Standard Procedures: Draft and update standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Safety, Quality & Risk Management:

  • Testing & Risk: Carries out risk analyses and reports on various tests in accordance with internal procedures.

  • Synergy with the HSE Department: Actively participate in risk analyses (e.g. HAZOP and FMEA reviews), ensure compliance with process safety requirements and verify that all process modifications adhere to strict occupational safety standards, as well as managing plant modifications (MOC).

  • Collaboration with the Quality Team: Work together to reduce non-conformities, participate in root cause analyses in the event of product deviations, and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Project Execution & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Commissioning: Oversees the commissioning and start-up of new equipment.

  • New Product Industrialisation: Coordinates the various departments to ensure the industrialisation and validation of new products on site.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration (Production & Maintenance): Works in close synergy with production teams (to understand operational constraints) and maintenance teams (to plan shutdowns, improve equipment reliability and resolve complex faults).

  • Liaising with Projects & Development Teams: Collaborating on the launch of new products, the purchase of new equipment or the expansion of the plant, ensuring the smooth transfer of process data from ‘project’ mode to ‘production’ mode (commissioning and start-up).


 

Are you a MATCH?


 

  • Education: Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.

  • Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing or production environment.

  • Technical Expertise: Knowledge of Distillation Processes. Deep understanding of fluid dynamics networks (estimating pressure drops, selecting/sizing pumps, control valves, and pipework).

  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, excellent cross-functional communication, analytical troubleshooting skills, and a proactive attitude toward safety and quality.

  • Fluent in French and English
