Accountabilities:

    In this role, you will act as both a strategic advisor and hands-on builder, supporting clients in turning data into meaningful insights and communication products that drive informed action.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor on data visualization strategy, communications design, and public health storytelling
    • Lead client discovery sessions to define goals, audiences, data needs, and communication objectives
    • Translate complex technical, policy, and data content into clear dashboards, reports, and visual narratives
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards, charts, and BI products using tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
    • Configure and maintain data models, metrics, and visualization logic within BI environments
    • Ensure dashboards are user-centered, accessible, performant, and aligned with stakeholder needs
    • Develop creative deliverables including infographics, reports, presentations, and digital communication assets
    • Establish reusable templates, design systems, and visualization components to improve scalability and consistency
    • Facilitate stakeholder presentations, feedback sessions, and iterative refinement cycles
    • Track and evaluate communication effectiveness and continuously improve visualization and reporting approaches
    • Collaborate across teams and projects while independently managing deliverables in fast-paced environments
    • Requirements:

      Candidates should bring a strong combination of data visualization expertise, communications strategy experience, and public-sector or consulting exposure, along with the ability to translate complexity into clarity.

      • Master’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Data Analytics, or a related field
      • 4–6+ years of professional experience, including client-facing consulting experience in a similar environment
      • Strong proficiency in Tableau and/or Power BI, including advanced or non-standard visualization development
      • Experience building dashboards, analytical tools, and executive-level reporting products
      • Strong understanding of data storytelling, information design, UX principles, and communications strategy
      • Ability to translate technical, policy, or statistical content into clear and engaging narratives
      • Experience working with public-sector or public health stakeholders strongly preferred
      • Familiarity with public health datasets, indicators, and reporting frameworks is a plus
      • Exposure to SQL and cloud analytics platforms (e.g., Snowflake) is advantageous
      • Experience with design and collaboration tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, Google Workspace) is a plus
      • Strong facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
      • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and evolving client needs in a structured environment
      • Experience using project collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint
