This position delivers attentive, knowledgeable, and personalized service by taking food and beverage orders, serving menu items accurately, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience. The Restaurant Server works collaboratively with culinary and front-of-house teams to uphold the highest standards of hospitality, professionalism, and service excellence. This role pays an hourly rate of $18.90 and is tip eligible. Benefits for Part-Time roles: 401(k) Savings Plan, 401(k) matching. This position will remain open until October 2, 2026. The hospitality operation features a diverse portfolio of dining experiences, including a multi-concept café, a modern luxury restaurant, a licensed Starbucks location, and a robust special events catering program. The team is dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences through outstanding food, service, and hospitality within one of the nation's premier cultural destinations. Responsibilities Welcome guests in a friendly, professional, and engaging manner.Present menus, explain menu items, daily features, and beverage offerings, and make recommendations based on guest preferences.Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale (POS) system.Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring accuracy, quality, and proper presentation.Anticipate guest needs by monitoring tables throughout the dining experience.Respond promptly and professionally to guest questions, requests, and concerns, escalating issues to management when appropriate.Present guest checks, process payments accurately, and thank guests for their visit.Prepare dining areas before service, including setting tables and ensuring stations are fully stocked.Coordinate with Hosts, Bartenders, Server Assistants, and Culinary team members to ensure efficient and seamless service.Maintain clean and organized service stations throughout each shift.Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities.Assist with table maintenance, clearing, and resetting as needed.Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, allergens, and daily specials.Demonstrate knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages to provide recommendations and pairings.Promote featured menu items and specialty beverages to enhance the guest experience.Follow responsible alcohol service practices and verify guest identification as required by law and company policy.Assist with private dining events, receptions, banquets, and special functions as...
