Accountabilities:

    The Director, Wealth Operations will oversee the daily operations of wealth service functions while driving continuous improvement, operational consistency, and exceptional client support. This role requires a strategic leader who can manage complex processes, develop teams, and optimize technology-enabled workflows.

    • Lead custodial operations teams supporting wealth management platforms and advisor service functions.
    • Oversee account opening, maintenance, transitions, and operational processes across multiple custodial relationships.
    • Partner with client service, investment operations, advisors, and leadership teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with custodians, vendors, and clearing partners to improve service delivery and support business growth.
    • Provide operational guidance, training, and support to advisors and teams during onboarding and transition activities.
    • Drive process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, scalability, automation, and data quality.
    • Optimize the use of wealth management technology platforms, CRM tools, workflow solutions, and operational systems.
    • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce operational friction, and improve service outcomes.
    • Establish and maintain operational governance, best practices, and quality standards.
    • Develop and execute strategies that support business expansion and long-term operational goals.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on custodial operations, wealth platforms, and operational best practices.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, professional development, and continuous improvement.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in wealth management operations, custodial platforms, and financial services leadership, with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage complex operational environments.

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
      • 10+ years of experience in custodial operations, wealth management operations, or supporting financial advisors in a similar capacity.
      • Strong knowledge of wealth management processes, RIA custodial platforms, and advisor support models.
      • Experience leading operational teams and developing high-performing professionals preferred.
      • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple departments.
      • Strong business acumen with experience communicating with senior leaders.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
      • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
      • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
      • Experience with wealth management technology platforms such as Fidelity, Charles Schwab, AssetMark, Osaic, Orion, Salesforce, Conga Composer, QuikForms, or DocuSign preferred.
      • Experience leading process improvement, automation, or technology enablement initiatives preferred.
      • Experience supporting advisor onboarding, transitions, and platform growth strategies preferred.
      • Active FINRA licenses required or ability to obtain within the agreed timeframe after hire.
      • CFP® certification preferred or encouraged.
