Accountabilities:

    The Caseworker, Patient Support & Services will support reimbursement and patient assistance workflows by coordinating case activities, maintaining accurate information, and helping ensure smooth service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

    • Assist with reimbursement processes by managing coverage-related requests and supporting timely, accurate case progression.
    • Coordinate benefits documentation, case updates, follow-up activities, and reimbursement-related communications.
    • Review and resolve routine reimbursement issues, documentation gaps, and workflow exceptions to minimize delays.
    • Maintain accurate case records, reimbursement documentation, and system updates to support reporting and operational visibility.
    • Monitor case trends, recurring challenges, and escalation indicators to support proactive issue resolution.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, healthcare partners, and external stakeholders to clarify requirements and facilitate case resolution.
    • Ensure patient support workflows follow established processes, quality standards, and service expectations.
    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, workflow enhancements, and operational readiness activities.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance efficiency, scalability, and patient service outcomes.
    • Requirements:

      The successful candidate will bring experience in healthcare support, reimbursement coordination, case management, or customer operations, along with strong organizational and communication skills. Required qualifications include:

      • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent professional experience.
      • 2+ years of experience in reimbursement support, patient services, healthcare operations, customer support, claims processing, case coordination, or a related field.
      • Experience managing case documentation, tracking workflows, and supporting service delivery processes.
      • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and manage multiple priorities.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
      • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining productivity and service quality.
      • Familiarity with healthcare reimbursement processes, patient access programs, or customer relationship management systems is preferred.
      • Certifications related to reimbursement support, patient access, customer support, service management, CRM systems, or process improvement are considered an asset.
