Field Contract Finance Manager
Position Summary
Why join our team?This role sits in Marketing Commercial Finance team within SEUK Finance. We are a team of 8 leading Samsung Electronics UK(SEUK)’s marketing expenditure. Our team handles over £300m budget for all product divisions and the end-to-end spend management process, from planning to closing, FP& A, reporting and risk management! The team is head up by Head of Marketing Commercial Finance. We have 2 finance managers running planning, forecasting and budgeting, 2 finance analysts managing marketing investment operation process, 1 risk and reporting manager for KPI reporting and process improvement.
Role and Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities
This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing Finance, with a dotted line to the Head of Procurement.
The Field Contract Finance Manager is a hybrid commercial finance and contract governance role responsible for the day-to-day management of large, cross-category Retail Field Agency contracts.
This role ensures strict adherence to contractual terms, robust financial control across front- and back-end processes, and high-quality stakeholder engagement across Samsung divisions and agency partners.
This position plays a critical role in protecting profitability, strengthening commercial partnerships and ensuring governance excellence across Samsung’s Retail Field operations. It sits at the heart of balancing value delivery with cost discipline — ensuring both operational performance and financial integrity are achieved.
The main responsibilities include;
Agency Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary Samsung point of contact for all agency relationship and contractual matters.
Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Retail Field Agencies.
Act as the main interface between Agencies and Samsung divisions (MX, HEA & CS).
Communicate contractual obligations, performance standards and governance expectations clearly to all stakeholders.
Facilitate regular performance reviews and business updates.
Support ongoing performance improvement initiatives across Samsung and its agencies.
Partner closely with Legal and Procurement on contract interpretation and amendments.
Champion a proactive, partnership-led contract management culture across the business.
Financial Management & Reconciliation
Drive financial accuracy, transparency and control across all contract-related activity.
Review and approve all agency charges, ensuring strict compliance with contractual pricing and invoicing terms.
Perform detailed front-end (forecasting, accruals, budgeting) and back-end (invoice validation, reconciliations) financial controls.
Ensure all supporting documentation and evidence is provided for audit and accounting purposes.
Conduct monthly reconciliations between contractual commitments, delivered services and invoiced costs.
Track and report on total contract spend vs. budget and forecast.
Identify cost recovery opportunities, billing discrepancies and process inefficiencies.
Provide accurate and transparent reporting on: contract performance, financial exposure, cost trends and operational efficiencies
Support continuous improvement of reporting tools and performance measurement methodologies.
Contract Compliance & Governance
Ensure 100% adherence to agreed contractual terms by both supplier and internal teams.
Manage the day-to-day governance of large cross-category Retail Field Agency contracts.
Ensure all services are requested and delivered in accordance with agreed scope, SLAs and pricing structures.
Monitor compliance with contractual KPIs and performance measures.
Maintain accurate records of all contract-related correspondence and documentation.
Provide timely resolution of contract-related issues, both internally and externally.
Escalate governance issues appropriately in line with company procedures.
Ensure services are commissioned in the most cost-effective manner.
Collaborate with Legal on contract interpretation and compliance queries.
Support internal audit requirements and maintain a strong control environment.
