Accountabilities:
- Act as a senior technical advisor in presales engagements, leading the design of Nutanix-based infrastructure solutions for enterprise clients.
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and cost-effective technical architectures across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments.
- Collaborate with account managers, bid teams, vendors, and technical specialists to define solution strategy and technical direction.
- Provide subject matter expertise in virtualization, infrastructure, storage, networking, and hybrid cloud design.
- Develop Statements of Work (SoWs), solution designs, and cost models aligned to customer requirements and business objectives.
- Participate in tender responses and bid defense activities as a key technical authority.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and stay current with emerging infrastructure and virtualization technologies.
- Identify and support additional business development opportunities through technical insight and solution innovation.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, including design, delivery, or management of large-scale virtualized environments.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure domains such as servers, storage, networking, backup, security, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Proven experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting roles within enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of virtualization technologies, with strong preference for Nutanix experience and certifications.
- Ability to design end-to-end solutions considering ROI, TCO, budgeting, and enterprise architecture principles.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of business drivers and service management principles in enterprise IT environments.
- Self-driven mindset with strong customer focus and ability to operate in fast-paced, agile environments.
- Australian citizenship with eligibility to obtain Baseline or NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
