Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Manager, Clinic Service Line, you will provide crucial leadership and operational oversight for a specialized clinical service line within our outpatient setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care and efficient day-to-day operations. You will be instrumental in optimizing patient access, clinical outcomes, and staff performance for your designated service.Every day you will manage the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of your clinic service line, including staffing, scheduling, budgeting, patient flow, and quality metrics. To be successful in this role, you must possess strong leadership and clinical knowledge relevant to your service line, exceptional communication skills, a comprehensive understanding of outpatient clinic operations, and proven experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably within a specific clinic or service line.
- Demonstrates the ability to safely and competently perform tasks, skills, duties, procedures and responsibilities according to Medical Center Policy and Procedure. Including, but not limited to:
- Provides direct supervision of all nursing and ancillary personnel assigned to the patient care/medical provisions areas of the Outpatient Clinics. This role includes the recruitment and retention of new and current employees.
- Completes and submits required employee documentation when due including, but not limited to performance evaluations, re-verification of professional license, certification / registration and/or CPR, annual TB screening and completion of annual SLM's.
- Completes and submits Departmental Orientation Checklist for every new employee within 30 days of employee's hire date or start date within department.
- Effectively manages all operational and clinical aspects of the assigned clinic(s).
- Determines the qualifications and competence of clinic personnel who provide patient care services and ensures competencies are updated as necessary.
Job Requirements
Required
- High School Graduate and Minimum of 3 (three) years experience as an RN in an acute care facility. Minimum of 2 (two) years of operations experience
- Registered Nurse: CA, upon hire
Preferred
- Supervisory/Management experience, upon hire and
- Masters Of Nursing, upon hire
