This role combines deep technical expertise with strong operational leadership, customer engagement, and incident management capabilities. The successful candidate will serve as a senior member of the Cloud Operations function, leading operational shifts, coordinating cross functional response activities during critical incidents, and acting as a trusted technical point of contact for both internal stakeholders and enterprise customers. The role requires hands on expertise in AWS services including networking, hybrid connectivity, troubleshooting, and automation along with exceptional communication skills, customer facing experience, and the ability to remain composed during high-severity production incidents. Success in this role requires strong networking fundamentals, operational excellence, leadership during service impacting events, and a service-oriented mindset focused on delivering reliable and secure customer outcomes across global time zones. Key Responsibilities Design, configure, and operate AWS networking: VPC/VPCe, Subnets, Route Tables, NACLs, Security Groups, Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, NAT, IGW, Route 53, and hybrid connectivity patterns. Build and maintain site‑to‑site VPNs (IPsec) and Direct Connect (with BGP), including failover and HA designs; administer Sophos XG (or equivalent) virtual firewalls. Coordinate incident response activities during P1 and P2 service impacting events, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder engagement, and timely resolution. Provide operational leadership during handovers, ensuring accurate shift transitions, risk identification, and continuity of service. Act as a primary technical liaison for customer-facing networking incidents, escalations, and connectivity projects. Manage Layer‑4/7 traffic using ALB/NLB, AWS WAF, TLS termination, and client/server certificate workflows (PKI). Lead deep‑dive troubleshooting for network connectivity (AWS ↔ customer DC/cloud), packet flow, NAT, routing asymmetry,...
