**Important information:**
+ **This is a hybrid role based out of SAP Vancouver office, working in-office with the team 3 days per week.**
+ **Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada at the time of application. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., LMIA or other immigration support).**
+ **Employment Type: This is a temporary contract position covering a parental leave, with a duration of up to 11 months. Compensation consists of an annual base salary only — this role is not eligible for an annual performance bonus, employee benefits, or SAP stock plans.**

The Labs Operations and Experience Producer Specialist is responsible for leading special projects in support of the Labs Canada operations, reporting to Labs Canada Managing Director. Responsibilities span event and communication support, operations support for the Labs Canada Strategy and Operations Head, as well as special projects to improve operations efficiency.
The successful candidate will drive projects working with multiple internal and external stakeholders. You will be a critical member of the Labs Canada team. If you are excited to handle multiple priorities and projects with creativity, precision, and drive and want to make an impact across Labs Canada locations, this role is for you.
+ Create and manage large-scale events up to 600 people, in-person and virtual, in support of Labs Vancouver, Waterloo and Montreal to drive towards high engagement.
+ Lead annual marquee site-wide events (e.g. All Employee meetings, developer conference, end-of-year holiday party, summer party) including venue sourcing, vendor relationships, procurement management, all logistics, coordination, communications, and volunteer coordination
+ Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines and budgets, and execute end-to-end
+ Act as special projects lead, such as executive visits, operational tools, eco system engagement and other key projects in collaboration with the Managing Director, Head of Strategy and Operations, and Communications Lead
+ Provide budget maintenance support to the Labs Canada Strategy and Operations Head
+ Provide procurement expertise and best practices to Labs Canada employees and project stakeholders
+ Communicate within project teams, and deliver relevant messages in a timely manner and with constructive feedback within the team
+ Work collaboratively within the team and cross functionally across the site and with global teams
**What you bring**
**Required Skills and Experience:**
+ 4 years of experience in event planning and internal or corporate communications, ideally in the tech sector
+ Proven ability to lead internal projects and communications plans for events from start to finish
+ Strong English writing and editing skills, to review others' work
+ Excellent project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives
+ Proficiency with internal communication platforms (SharePoint, Microsoft 365, etc.)
+ Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
+ General proficiency with tools and procedures required: Outlook, PowerPoint, Canva, Word, Excel, SharePoint, SAP Ariba, Microsoft Power Apps
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experience working with hybrid and distributed teams
+ Written and spoken knowledge of French in a business context
+ Rollout of new operational systems and tools
+ Change management practices

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 88,800-191,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
