This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join Biocair's People team and play a key role in supporting employees across the UK and EMEA. As our Senior People Experience Coordinator, you will be at the heart of the employee lifecycle, including on-boarding, providing trusted People support, coordinating HR administration and systems, supporting employee relations activity, and driving continuous improvement across People processes.

You will work closely with employees, managers and the wider People team to ensure a positive, compliant, and engaging employee experience while helping to deliver strategic People initiatives that support our continued global growth.

Role Responsibilities Overview
  • Managing HR administration across the employee lifecycle, including  offer letters, contracts, employee changes, family leave, promotions, and  leaver processes. 
  • Acting as the first point of contact for employee People queries,  delivering a responsive and customer focused service. 
  • Providing first line People team support for employees in the UK and EMEA, and in person within our Cambridge office and Warehouse.
  • Delivering face to face onboarding for new employees, predominantly  at our Cambridge Head office and Sawston Warehouse, with occasional travel to other UK locations.
  • Supporting the Head of Global HR Business Partnering with employee relations activity, including note taking in face to face meetings and  administration of ER cases. 
  • Conducting People inductions, Right to Work checks and onboarding  activities. 
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and managing HR systems,  reporting, and data integrity. 
  • Supporting payroll and benefits administration to ensure a positive  employee experience. 
  • Managing and promoting our employee recognition platform and  supporting wider People initiatives and projects. 
  • Supporting policy reviews, process improvements, and People  communications across the business. 
  • Coaching and supporting more junior team members on People  administration processes and best practice.

Work Environment
  • Full time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30
  • Hybrid working model
  • Minimum of 2 days per week onsite to provide first line People team  support for employees in our Cambridge Head Office and Sawston Warehouse  with onboarding and employee support activities.
  • Occasional travel to other UK sites

What You'll Bring
Essential Experience & Knowledge
  • Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator, People  Coordinator or similar administrative experience with strong transferable  skills.
  • Experience supporting the full employee lifecycle, which includes  on-boarding.
  • Experience supporting employee relations cases and handling confidential information with discretion. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Experience taking accurate notes in employee meetings and  maintaining detailed records.
  • Understanding of employment legislation, People policies, and  compliant HR practices. 
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. 
  • Confidence working independently while managing multiple  priorities. 
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and HR systems. 

Desirable
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or equivalent. 
  • Experience with HRIS reporting and data analysis. 
  • Exposure to payroll, benefits administration and SharePoint. 
  • Experience supporting projects and process improvement initiatives.
