The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services team: 

RTX has an opening for a Supervisor, Facilities (Supervisor, Facilities) position.

Location: South Carolina - US-SC-SIMPSONVILLE-1001 ~ 1001 Old Stage Rd ~ OLD STAGE

Plans, designs and executes activities that are directly related to the physical creation of UTC products and the functional operation of UTC facilities. Contains professional and para-professional disciplines.

What You Will Do:

  • Plans, designs, and reconfigures equipment, machinery, buildings, and structures to ensure the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities.
  • Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs.
  • Gathers and reviews data concerning facility or equipment specifications, company or government restrictions, required completion date, and construction feasibility.
  • Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs.
  • Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance.
  • Conducts machine inventories and arranges disposal of obsolete or no-longer-required equipment.
  • Manages facilities contractor management process.
  • Manages Technical / Business Support and/or Production / Maintenance employees.
  • Sets day-to-day operational objectives for team.
  • Problems faced are routine and not difficult.
  • Ensures practices and procedures are followed by direct reports.
  • Supervises skilled traders, general maintenance employees or outside contractors who construct, maintain, and repair utilities systems, buildings, and equipment on a day-to-day basis to ensure operational objectives are met.
  • Supervises security personnel at a single site who perform activities related to building security, safety, and organization or government restrictions.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 2+ years’ experience with specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or Operations or Business Administration or similar discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience interfacing with building teams about issues.

  • Proven leadership ability to motivate a Team.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Microsoft Projects, Maximo, Building Management Systems and AutoCAD.

Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
