At Maersk Global Service Centre in Poland, our people play a critical role in driving operational excellence, process discipline and continuous improvement across our global business.

We are now looking for a Continuous Improvement Manager to help embed a strong, outcome-driven Continuous Improvement operating model across our regional teams. This is a key role for someone who enjoys working close to operations, partnering with leaders, coaching teams, and turning improvement opportunities into measurable business outcomes.

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for strengthening CI ownership across teams, ensuring performance routines are consistently applied, and driving efficiency initiatives that deliver tangible value.

What you will be doing

Driving the CI operating model

  • You will lead the deployment and ongoing adoption of the Continuous Improvement operating model across assigned L3 processes within your region. This includes ensuring teams are consistently using core CI tools and routines such as MOS, TMW, Bowler, A3 and SQC.
  • You will actively participate in daily and weekly management routines with team managers and regional leaders, helping to improve review quality, strengthen performance discipline and ensure teams are focused on the right priorities.

Delivering efficiency outcomes

  • You will own and drive L3-level operational and non-operational efficiency initiatives, ensuring monthly and quarterly delivery against agreed targets.
  • Working closely with CI Specialists, operations teams and Automation colleagues, you will help identify opportunities, structure improvement actions, define user stories, support MVP scope and review solution readiness. You will also review and approve business requirement documents, MVP outcomes and final implementation readiness.

Building CI capability and culture

  • A key part of this role is coaching and capability building. You will support CI Specialists, team leaders and managers in applying practical problem-solving methods, including A3 problem solving, Bowler reviews and SQC-led daily management.
  • You will help build CI maturity across teams through hands-on coaching, standard work and targeted training. You will also identify capability gaps and support the development of stronger CI skills across the organisation.

Strengthening process performance

  • You will monitor process performance at L3 level, ensuring timely action planning for red metrics and areas trending towards risk. You will also assess the effectiveness of TMW elements and MOS cadence, escalating systemic issues, risks and insights to the CI Senior Manager and Pillar Leaders where needed.

What success looks like

In this role, you will help drive:

  • Strong adoption of TMW across assigned L3 processes
  • Effective MOS ways of working and improved review discipline
  • Year-on-year improvement in Continuous Improvement maturity
  • Delivery of CI and automation initiatives with signed-off business benefits
  • Robust action planning for red metrics, MPR risks and recurring performance issues
  • Stronger team engagement through coaching, capability building and practical support

What we are looking for

We are looking for someone who brings a strong continuous improvement mindset, combined with the ability to influence, coach and drive change in a complex operational environment.

You will be a good fit for this role if you have:

  • Experience in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Lean, Six Sigma or process improvement
  • Strong understanding of performance management routines and operational governance
  • Experience working with tools or methodologies such as A3, Bowler, daily management, standard work, visual management or structured problem solving
  • Ability to coach managers and teams in practical CI behaviours and ways of working
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at different levels
  • Experience driving efficiency initiatives and tracking measurable business benefits
  • Ability to work closely with automation, operations and transformation teams
  • A structured, hands-on approach with strong attention to execution and follow-through
