Accountabilities:
- Review assigned cases to identify potential matches and assess relevant customer information.
- Analyze key demographic details including names, variations or translations, dates of birth, ages, and addresses or locations.
- Apply established decision-making frameworks to determine whether cases should be cleared or escalated for further review.
- Document investigation findings, rationale, and case dispositions for quality assurance and compliance review.
- Support Level 1 analysts by providing accurate analysis and detailed case documentation.
- Manage a high volume of cases while maintaining quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Follow AML policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the review process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support effective risk identification and resolution.
- Experience or educational background in banking, financial services, AML, compliance, or a related field.
- Knowledge of AML regulations, processes, and industry best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common business applications.
- Ability to analyze information, identify patterns, and make sound decisions.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience managing large workloads and handling multiple priorities.
