Description
$38-$45/hr + Overtime OpportunitiesWind River Environmental is looking for experienced Diesel Technicians to help keep our hardworking fleet on the road and operating safely.This is not a dealership environment with brand-new trucks and repetitive PM work. We operate a demanding fleet of vacuum trucks, pump trucks, roll-offs, and specialty equipment that supports essential environmental services operations across the region. The equipment works hard — and our mechanics do too.We’re looking for mechanics who can troubleshoot independently, solve problems in the field and shop, and take pride in keeping critical equipment running. If you enjoy variety, autonomy, and hands-on work where your experience truly matters, we want to talk with you.What You’ll DoDiagnose and repair diesel engines, air brake systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, and emissions equipmentPerform preventive maintenance and inspections on medium and heavy-duty trucks and specialty equipmentTroubleshoot mechanical issues and prioritize repairs to keep equipment operationalRespond to road calls and breakdowns when neededCoordinate parts ordering and outside vendor repairsDocument repairs and maintenance using Fleetio fleet management softwareSupport fleet reliability and safety initiatives as we continue improving our maintenance operationsMaintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards
Requirements
