Accountabilities:

    • Lead, build, and develop a high-performing regional oncology sales team (approx. 8 representatives), fostering a culture of accountability, excellence, and patient-first execution while driving consistent achievement of quarterly and annual performance targets.
    • Design and execute area-specific commercial strategies aligned with brand and organizational objectives, using market insights, customer needs, and data-driven analysis to optimize impact across the Mid-Atlantic region.
    • Own strategic relationships with key healthcare systems, large oncology practices, and regional payer/GPO stakeholders, ensuring strong account engagement, access optimization, and long-term partnership development.
    • Drive team performance through clear goal setting, structured coaching, capability building, and ongoing performance management, while identifying and scaling best practices across the field organization.
    • Partner cross-functionally with marketing, market access, medical, and training teams to align on launch strategy, messaging, and field execution plans, ensuring consistent commercial alignment.
    • Utilize sales analytics, market data, and performance insights to inform forecasting, quarterly business reviews, launch planning, and identification of growth opportunities.
    • Represent field insights at the leadership level, acting as a conduit between regional teams and headquarters to inform strategy, resource allocation, and tactical execution.
    • Ensure full compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements while managing resources and budget accountability across the region.
    • Requirements

      • 12–15+ years of biopharmaceutical industry experience with a strong focus on oncology commercial leadership, including 8–12+ years leading oncology sales teams in competitive markets.
      • Proven success launching oncology products, ideally including NSCLC therapies and companion diagnostic-enabled treatments in complex clinical environments.
      • Demonstrated ability to build, scale, and sustain high-performing sales organizations from launch through maturity.
      • Strong understanding of oncology ecosystem dynamics, including market access, distribution, provider networks, and specialty pharmacy channels.
      • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and talent development skills with the ability to inspire and elevate field teams.
      • Advanced analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business decisions and commercial strategies.
      • Strong executive communication skills, including experience engaging C-suite stakeholders and senior healthcare decision-makers.
      • Ability to work effectively in highly cross-functional, matrixed environments with strong collaboration across internal and external partners.
      • Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the assigned Mid-Atlantic geography.
      • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MS, PhD) preferred.
