You will help us develop a modern, scalable frontend stack, building an intuitive and responsive user experience for environmental analytics customers across the globe. This role offers the opportunity to grow, shape the product, and contribute to meaningful climate impact through technology.SpecificsWorking in Luxembourg with Jonas, Teresa and Eduardo, you’ll join the Berlin team (Kirill, Dan, Manuel) to build on our satellite data platform.Core tech - React, python3/FastAPI, GIS, github, GCPMain task - Develop our satellite data interface frontendWhat You’ll DoDevelop, maintain, and improve the frontend of our Global Insights platformWork closely with backend, product, and data teams to turn complex geospatial and emissions data into clear and actionable visualizationsImplement clean UI components, dashboards, and user workflows for data explorationEnsure a smooth user experience across browsers and devicesWrite clean, maintainable code with version control on GitHubDeploy and maintain frontend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Collaborate with the team and contribute to product discussions, UX improvements, and technical decisionsTake ownership on decisions - you should be excited to take responsibility over key software featuresYour profileThe ideal candidate will have:At least 3 years of experience in frontend developmentSolid experience with TypeScript and at least one modern framework (e.g. React, Angular) — React preferred)Understanding of UI/UX fundamentals and component-based designExperience working with frontend-GIS libraries (MapLibre, Leaflet etc.)Experience with APIs, responsive layouts, and dashboard-style applicationsWorking knowledge of Git/GitHubEagerness to learn, grow, and take ownership of a core product areaComfortable collaborating with teams using Python-based backends (xarray, NumPy, etc.)Geo or Earth Observation dataAbout usAIRMO is a European climate-tech company using space and airborne technologies to monitor greenhouse gas emissions globally.
