Internship: Commercial FinanceIntern Compensation: up to EUR 550 - monthlyJob DescriptionAbout the roleAre you seeking an opportunity to put your financial and analytical skills into practice in a global manufacturing company? We are currently looking for a motivated and analytical Intern to support our Commercial Finance team at our European Headquarters in Oegstgeest!Being part of this dynamic, international team, you will provide critical reporting and analytical support to our European Sales, Marketing, and Procurement departments. This internship is scheduled to start on the 1st of October for a duration of 6 months. The role requires a minimum commitment of 2 days per week on-site at our Oegstgeest office, with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, your main responsibilities will be:Reporting & Business IntelligenceFinancial Reporting & Analysis: Support the monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to ensure business owners get timely, accurate, and actionable insights on their financial performance.Ad Hoc Analysis: Prepare ad hoc internal reporting sales analysis, update the performance reports models, and create various customized financial analyses to support commercial decision-making.Commercial & Procurement Support: Provide associated analytical support to both the commercial and procurement teams to help optimize cost and sales efficiency.Forecasting & Process OptimizationForecasting Implementation: Contribute directly to the implementation and optimization of a standard, cohesive Forecasting process across the European region.Model Management: Maintain and improve existing financial performance models, looking for opportunities to leverage automation and digital tools.Cross-Functional CollaborationStakeholder Wiring: Establish and build upon robust and cohesive working relationships between different teams, acting as a key link between Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement, IT, and Business Intelligence.QualificationsRequired:Currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (with a focus on Finance), or another related field of study.Currently enrolled at a Dutch university for the entire duration of the internship.Good communication and interpersonal skills, with full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, and Conditional Operations).Skills you need to succeed:An explorer/self-starter mindset with strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.Someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, team-oriented, and multicultural workspace.Curiosity, adaptability, and the courage to propose process improvements and structural optimization.Additional InformationWhat We OfferWe believe in nurturing talent and providing a platform where your ideas matter.
