This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Project Operations (Drilling) based in the United States.

This role is a rare opportunity to architect and scale a high-performance field operations organization at the forefront of geothermal energy deployment. You will own the systems, teams, and execution strategy that enable large-scale, commercial drilling projects to be delivered safely, efficiently, and repeatedly in complex urban environments. Acting as both operational leader and project executive, you will oversee end-to-end project delivery while building the playbooks, infrastructure, and field capabilities needed to scale nationally. The role blends hands-on operational leadership with strategic planning, requiring you to define KPIs, establish resourcing models, and design scalable workflows from the ground up. You will collaborate closely with engineering, product, and equipment partners to deploy cutting-edge subsurface technologies that reshape how geothermal systems are built. This is a high-impact leadership position where execution quality, safety, and efficiency directly influence the success of clean energy adoption. Your work will help establish the operational foundation and culture for a rapidly scaling energy transition company.
