The RoleLinero’s infrastructure sits beneath systems where security, reliability, and operational trust are mission-critical.As Staff Engineer, Infrastructure & Security, you will own the architecture and implementation of Linero's cloud infrastructure. You will make foundational decisions that determine how we deploy, scale, and earn the trust of some of the most security-conscious organizations in the world. This is a role for someone who has done this before, and is ready to do it better than ever.Due to the sensitive nature of certain customers, additional details about role responsibilities are shared under NDA with qualifying candidates.What You'll OwnDesign and build Linero's cloud infrastructure, from networking and compute to storage, access controls, and deployment pipelinesArchitect the platform with FedRAMP authorization as a north star, embedding compliance requirements into the infrastructureOwn the security posture of the platform end-to-end: threat modeling, vulnerability management, incident response, and audit readinessBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and observability tooling that give the engineering team confidence to ship fast without compromising reliabilityEstablish the operational practices - monitoring, alerting, on-call, runbooks - that will underpin Linero's reliability commitments to enterprise customersPartner closely with the engineering team to ensure that infrastructure decisions support product velocityWhat We're Looking For7+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud engineering, or site reliability engineering — with a track record that includes building secure, compliant platforms at scaleDeep AWS expertise across the services that matter most for a production-grade, security-conscious platform: IAM, VPC, EKS, RDS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, and beyondHands-on experience operating within a FedRAMP environment, or direct exposure to the authorization process; you understand what it takes and what it costsStrong infrastructure-as-code fluency (Terraform, Pulumi, or equivalent) and a bias toward automation over manual processSRE-shaped thinking; you care as much about reliability, observability, and incident response as you do about security and complianceExperience working in environments where security is not a feature but a baseline: defense, government, intelligence, or highly regulated enterprisePreference for candidates who have navigated FedRAMP authorization end-to-end across more than one organization or platform buildWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation commensurate with experienceMeaningful equity in a company at an early and critical stage of growthComprehensive benefits including health, dental, and visionThe opportunity to build infrastructure that will underpin one of the most consequential platforms of this decadeDirect access to leadership and genuine influence over how Linero is builtEqual Opportunity & EligibilityLinero is an equal opportunity employer.
