What you’ll be able to do:
Facilities Engineer - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a purely telecommuting/work-from-home position whereby the employee may reside anywhere within the U.S. Responsible for Program Facilities Change-Over Plan development and execution of PARs to the Plant for responsible New Model Programs. Direct funding transfers and re-allocation due to Program Change Requests for responsible New Model Programs. Support Body Leader and Facilities Implementation Supervisor for overall program and project financial accountability. Responsible for final project close-out and BCE Facilities Exit Checklist completion development of bid specifications and clarification. Responsible for PO Award for Conveyor Commodity procurement and the development of on-site construction facilities plan and layout, including contractor offices and storage requirements, utility tie-ins and capacity, Ford personnel on-site support facilities, and contractor lay down areas. Develop special safety, environmental and emergency response requirements. Support development of bid specifications and clarification leading to PO Award for Conveyor and related facilities. Responsible for field engineering and supporting for conveyors and facilities installation in compliance with Ford Motor Company ProTAG process. Responsible for Facility Launch Plan, including "site run-off" review and acceptance, baseline data acquisition and plant personnel training. Lead project close-out process, including verification and storage of as-built documentation, receipt and storage of maintenance documents and spare parts recommendations, buy-off book(s) and related documentation. Domestic Travel Required 80-100%.

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 6 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. 6 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Using computer CAD Autodesk. 2. Performing 3D spatial modeling. 4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Working in plant manufacturing, including onsite support within facilities for conveyor, demolition, and construction activities. Position requires the following Certifications: 1. Project Management Professional (PMP). 2. Facilities Management Professional (FMP).
We are offering a salary of $128,648.00 - $166,200.00/yr.
