Position is Full time, Mon-Fri 7:30am4:00pm with occasional Saturday Mornings. overtime as needed.Must live a commutable distance to Auburn, Maine and have a background in Environment or the Sciences. This position is ideal for candidates who thrive in a customer service position.Compensation is $20-22/hour (DOE) This is a great opportunity to gain experience in a laboratory and grow with the organization. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Project Management AssistantProject Set UpSchedules courier or field sampler, if neededConfirms non-Eurofins Environment Testing America subcontract labs are on the approved list and set up as vendors for existing workGenerates accounting software requisition when sending subcontract samplesSample ReceiptReviews log-inGenerates subcontract paperworkSends client sample receipt confirmationReviews draft invoiceConfirms that any client needed information (purchase order, project number, etc.) is recorded inLIMS for invoicingReportingCreates and issues final report by client due dateIssues final data packageState reporting forms and submissionData uploadCompiles case narrativeLogin Client Support SpecialistRegular attendance and punctualityCollect samples from on-site drop boxUnpack shipments and document receipt of sampleOrganize and record samplesData entry into LIMSMaintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeepingPhone and email correspondence with clientsReview analytical reports quickly and accuratelyScan and send out reports in a timely mannerAssist with customer servicesHandle interactions with walk-in clientsConduct all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsBasic Minimum Qualifications Associate degree (2 years client-relationship/client service experience may substitute for degree)High school Chemistry coursework, basic laboratory experienceEnvironmental laboratory experience1-3 years business experience requiredAuthorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship May need to lift up to 50lbs coolers of samples on occasion.
