Job Description

Key Responsibilities

OCI Administration & Operations

• Provision, configure, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure resources.
• Administer OCI compute instances, storage, networking, and database services.
• Monitor cloud environments and ensure high availability and performance.
• Manage OCI tenancy structure, compartments, quotas, and governance policies.
• Perform routine maintenance, patching, and system upgrades.

Cloud Infrastructure Management

• Manage: Compute Instances Block Volumes Object Storage File Storage Services Load Balancers DNS Services Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN)
• Configure auto-scaling and capacity planning.
• Implement disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.

Identity & Security Management

• Manage OCI Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Configure user roles, groups, policies, and federated authentication.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Monitor security events and remediate vulnerabilities.
• Configure security zones and cloud guard services.

Networking

• Configure and maintain: Virtual Cloud Networks (VCN) Subnets Route Tables Security Lists Network Security Groups (NSGs) FastConnect VPN Connectivity Load Balancers
• Troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.

Monitoring & Performance

• Monitor infrastructure using OCI Monitoring and Logging services.
• Analyze system performance and address bottlenecks.
• Create dashboards, alerts, and incident response procedures.
• Support SLA and uptime requirements.

Backup & Disaster Recovery

• Configure and manage backup policies.
• Implement disaster recovery solutions across OCI regions.
• Perform backup validation and restoration testing.
• Ensure business continuity and recovery objectives are met.

Automation & DevOps

• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and OCI CLI.
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD deployments.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts.
