LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Training Coordinator to join our team at 550 17th Ave in Seattle, WA

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, additional hours when needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives
- Evaluate new, presently existing, and proposed training methodologies, develop training materials and plans, and deliver training
- Conduct training programs for the company. Track and analyze training programs by examining participants’ job performance
- Monitor and report the effectiveness of training on employees during the orientation period
- Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
- Travel to additional sites when needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Washington State issued Phlebotomy license (MA-P)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience
- 1 or more years of lead or training experience, preferably within a phlebotomy or clinical training environment.
Additional Job Standards:
- In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
- Exceptional customer service
- Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Comfortable working under minimal supervision
- Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish
- Answer telephones, maintain logs/records, motivate others, organizational skills, proficiency with numbers, research information, time management, train employees, use computerized databases, written and verbal communications.
- Physical Demands: Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one’s feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping and possible casual to regular lifting of up to 30 pounds.
- Travel: Travel required to other sites to assist onboarding and training, 5-10%. Very minimal.

We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator to work at our Training Center. This position will be responsible for the organization, development and execution of training new employees. Performs training of newly hired employees, provides re-training on company topics such as policies, procedures, and programs as needs dictate, and conducts group and individualized training for purposes of work performance enhancement and general education. Serves as a procedural and compliance resource for employees in assigned areas
Pay Range: $21.87 to $32.28 per hour
All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
