Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior

Ops Accounting Associate. This role will involve supporting our Operations and Accounting

teams by ensuring accurate recording of transactions, handling various property-related

administrative tasks, and maintaining organized records of our short-term rental properties.

The Junior Ops Accounting Associate will play a key role in the overall management of our

property portfolio by ensuring operational compliance, supporting financial operations, and

helping streamline internal processes. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive,

detail-oriented, and committed to delivering accurate and timely results.

This role will be responsible for managing utilities, supporting property onboarding and

offboarding processes, coordinating owner communications, and assisting with a variety of

finance-related functions.

Additionally, the Junior Ops Accounting Associate will be responsible for preparing and issuing

Owner Statements for the U.S. market, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial

information reported to property owners. A solid understanding of U.S. taxes, particularly those

related to the short-term rental industry, is highly desirable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

● Intermediate English proficiency

● Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

● Familiarity with Google Workspace tools

● Experience with QuickBooks (Desirable)

● Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

● Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

● Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly to new challenges

● A solid understanding of U.S. taxes, particularly those related to the short-term rental

industry, is highly desirable.

Software: QuickBooks, Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com (or other OTA platforms)

Key Responsibilities

● Manage inconveniences related to utility (Internet, Gas, Water, etc.) outages during guest

stays and vacant periods for properties in the US.

● Ensure accurate recording of revenue and expenses in owner statements for the

company's properties.

● Respond promptly to requests and inquiries from property owners.

● Oversee property onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring compliance with

company standards.

● Maintain and update access to utility platforms, licenses, and HOA for all properties in the

US.

● Manage the onboarding of vendors and co-hosts on corresponding platforms according to

company policies.

● Monitor and record accounting operations on the company's platforms, following internal

guidelines.

● Preparing and issuing Owner Statements for the U.S. market, ensuring the accuracy and

completeness of all financial information reported to property owners

● Update the company's playbook with changes in internal processes.

● Handle chargeback disputes and resolutions across various OTAs (Online Travel

Agencies), following company protocols.

● Perform other A/P and A/R reconciliation projects as needed.

● Create and maintain checklists to ensure efficient property onboarding management.
