The overall objective of this role is to ensure the development and management of a dedicated internal KYC (Know Your Client) program at Citi.Responsibilities:Manage and lead KYC operations, including executing processes in accordance with Citi compliance policies and overseeing the KYC control environmentPerform program management of existing Business As Usual (BAU)/Refresh process with scope to migrate further functions globallyProvide people management and development responsibilities and ensure team service level standards are metLiaise with Compliance department and senior management within business units supportedOversee new client onboarding and implement process enhancements to improve client onboarding experienceProvide Management Information System (MIS) reporting to senior management and ensure delivery of targets within timelines dictated by BAU and Refresh ProgramMonitor account refresh activity daily to ensure regulatory/document requirements are metPerform quality reviews on new client and refresh cases, ensuring a high level of quality before cases are finalizedMaintain ‘Book of Work’ for new system releases and enhancements to existing infrastructureHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.Ability to manage teams. Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.Skills: AI Literacy: Demonstrated understanding of core AI concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and generative AI, and their potential impact on the business.AI Acumen - The ability to identify and articulate opportunities for leveraging AI technologies to solve business problems and improve processesEthical AI Awareness: Familiarity with the ethical considerations, potential biases, and responsible use of artificial intelligence in a business contextProven ability to work independently and be self-starterExceptional organization and process management abilityIntermediate technical skills including intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)Demonstrated ability to prioritize, multi-task and work within tight and changeable timeframe while still maintaining high level of accuracyStrong analytical skills and time management skills, excellent attention to detailsExcellent written and verbal communication skills and aptitude in communicating with senior managementAbility to work with internal stakeholders (e.g. Coverage, Quality Assurance, Compliance) & partners (e.g. Training, Communications, Senior Management) to develop and execute on process enhancements and simplificationsDemonstrated effectiveness process management – in particular target setting, prioritization and operational effectivenessAbility to work well under pressure and tight time framesMIS...
