Job Overview:

Under broad direction, contributes to the development and evolution of enterprise architecture that supports current and future products, platforms, and business objectives. Partners with business and technology stakeholders to define scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions aligned with strategic goals. Provides architectural guidance across applications, cloud platforms, data ecosystems, and emerging technologies to drive innovation, modernization, and operational excellence.

Essential Functions:

  • Contributes to the development and implementation of enterprise architecture standards, governance frameworks, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.

  • Collaborates with business and technology leaders to translate product strategy and business objectives into scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions.

  • Supports AI-powered solution development including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vectorization, embeddings, vector databases, and prompt engineering practices.

  • Promotes adoption of AI-assisted software development practices to improve engineering productivity and solution quality.

  • Participates in research, proof-of-concept activities, and technology evaluations involving cloud, AI, analytics, and emerging technologies.

  • Participates in strategic planning, architecture governance, technology modernization, and enterprise technology direction.

  • Provides architectural leadership across application, platform, integration, data, and infrastructure domains.

  • Participates in cross-functional product development initiatives and provides architecture guidance throughout the software development lifecycle.

  • Evaluates emerging technologies and identifies opportunities for innovation, automation, modernization, and business value creation.

  • Designs and guides implementation of cloud-native, distributed, and scalable technology solutions.

  • Supports enterprise data architecture initiatives including analytics, reporting, data warehousing, and modern data engineering solutions.

  • Provides guidance on scalability, security, observability, resiliency, performance optimization, and operational excellence.

  • Supports system design, business information modeling, solution architecture, integration architecture, and software architecture initiatives.

  • Ensures alignment with security, compliance, risk management, and enterprise architecture standards.

  • Mentors architects, engineers, and business analysts on architecture principles, technology strategy, AI adoption, and engineering best practices.

  • Identifies modernization opportunities, technical debt, architecture bottlenecks, and process improvements to drive continuous improvement across products and platforms.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 5+ years of software development, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technical leadership experience.

  • Experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technical leadership, stakeholder management, and technology strategy.

  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, architecture governance, strategic planning, and technology roadmaps.

  • Experience designing cloud-native, scalable, distributed, and resilient solutions.

  • Experience with modern data platforms, analytics solutions, and enterprise integration patterns.

  • Knowledge of AI/ML technologies, including Generative AI, LLMs, RAG architectures, vectorization, embeddings, and prompt engineering.

  • Experience driving AI-assisted software development practices and engineering productivity improvements.

  • Strong understanding of system design, software architecture, business information modeling, and enterprise solution design.

  • Experience modernizing applications and platforms through scalability improvements, automation, cloud adoption, and technical debt reduction.

  • Understanding of observability, resiliency engineering, performance optimization, capacity planning, and operational excellence practices.

  • Ability to align architecture decisions and technology investments with business objectives and product strategy.

  • Broad knowledge of modern software engineering practices, DevOps, CI/CD, security principles, and industry best practices.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, mentoring, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
