Amazon Global Selling is on a mission to help businesses of all sizes start local and grow global. We help local businesses directly reach new customers around the globe across Amazon's 21 overseas marketplaces. We are seeking a highly motivated, analytically-minded, and innovation-driven intern to join our Business Operations team. In this role, you will work alongside experienced team members to support data-driven decision-making, explore AI-powered solutions to reimagine how we operate, and translate complex datasets into meaningful insights that shape business strategy. You will gain exposure to cross-border e-commerce operations at scale and have the opportunity to prototype and pilot AI-driven innovations that unlock new possibilities for the team.
Key job responsibilities
• Analyze large-scale business data to identify trends, opportunities, and performance gaps, and present findings to stakeholders

• Support the development and maintenance of business dashboards, reports, and operational metrics frameworks
• Prototype AI-powered workflows or tools that challenge existing processes and create new possibilities for the team
• Participate in cross-functional projects to improve operational efficiency and seller experience
• Communicate insights and recommendations clearly through written documents and presentations
- Will graduate during Dec 2026 to Aug 2027 and enrolled in a Bachelor's degree or higher degree program
- Major in statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance, economics, engineering, business intelligence, or equivalent quantitative field
- Work 4 to 5 days per week for at least 6 months, physically in Shanghai.
- Proficiency in SQL and strong analytical skill
- Strong curiosity and hands-on experience with AI tools to improve personal productivity or solve problems creatively
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Self-starter with strong learning agility, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to building AI-powered prototypes, automation workflows, or applications (e.g., using APIs, prompt engineering, RAG, or no-code AI platforms)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in ambiguous situations
- Master's degree program enrollment is a plus
