Field Service Engineer
Performs technical services on site in accordance with the scope of work specified in the service order or contract, using the necessary procedures, knowledge, and tools.
Work safely, in accordance with the organization's and the client's health and safety guidelines.
Obtains and maintains certification in accordance with the assigned training path.
Identifies opportunities for improvement in each service performed.
You demonstrate strong customer focus and technical judgment, translating customer needs into effective engineering solutions. You work proactively and independently, persist through challenges, and consistently deliver results aligned with project objectives. You communicate clearly with customers and stakeholders, adapt to changing conditions, and apply structured planning and problem‑solving approaches to achieve safe, timely, and high‑quality outcomes.
For This Role, You Will Need:
The candidate must have demonstrable experience in engineering Power Plant process solutions including, but not limited to, Combustion Turbines, Steam Turbines, Balance of Plant, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Traditional Boilers and Water Treatment plants.
Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Control, Automation, or a related Engineering discipline.
Hands‑on experience supporting power generation or industrial process control projects.
Demonstrated experience with distributed control systems (DCS), preferably Emerson Ovation or equivalent platforms.
Practical exposure to power plant processes, including combustion turbines, steam turbines, boilers, balance of plant, heat recovery steam generators, and water treatment systems.
Proven ability to support engineering design, system integration, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
Strong technical problem‑solving skills, customer communication capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a project‑based environment.
Willingness to travel (approximately 70% of the time)
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Hands‑on involvement in FAT, SAT, commissioning, or plant startup activities.
Familiarity with functional design, hardware/software specification, or retrofit projects.
Basic project execution skills, including scheduling, risk awareness, and cost control.
Experience working in field or plant environments within the power generation, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ISA, PMP, safety training) are a plus.
