Finance Analyst- Data & Automation

About the team
As a Finance Analyst, you will be instrumental in strengthening the link between Controlling and FP&A teams, with a primary focus on driving digital efficiency. This role supports core financial control processes and management reporting, while proactively identifying and leveraging data and automation tools to streamline routine tasks such as periodic controlling, forecasting, budgeting, and actuals review.
What you’ll do
● Own and execute core Controlling activities while continuously identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate these processes
● Perform and enhance monthly revenue reconciliations across multiple systems by identifying root causes of discrepancies and implementing scalable, automated solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency
● Manage expense-related activities, including invoice allocation and accruals, with a focus on improving data flows, reducing manual intervention, and increasing process reliability
● Coordinate capitalization processes, including data collection, validation, and forecasting, while driving improvements in data quality, consistency, and automation
● Support monthly management reporting and variance analysis by leveraging data tools and automation to improve speed, accuracy, and insight generation
● Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes through data-driven analysis, scenario modelling, and continuous enhancement of underlying data and models
● Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data, automation, and AI (e.g., generative AI, scripting, workflow tools) to transform finance processes and reduce manual effort
● Drive continuous improvement across finance workflows by challenging existing processes, increasing standardization, and implementing scalable, technology-enabled solutions
Who you are
● 3–5 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, FP&A, or Accounting, with a solid understanding of core financial processes such as reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
● Experience working with large, multi-source datasets, including extracting, validating, and reconciling data across different systems
● Structured and organized working style, with strong attention to detail and a focus on data accuracy
● Proven ability or strong interest in identifying inefficiencies and improving processes through better use of data, automation, or technology
● Curiosity and willingness to learn, with an interest in exploring new tools, including automation and AI, to improve ways of working
● Ability to work effectively across multiple systems and stakeholders, with clear and confident communication skills
● Proactive and ownership-driven mindset, able to manage operational responsibilities while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement
● Ability to work independently while appropriately escalating issues when needed
