About the role:

  • As a Technical Facilities Coordinator at JLL, you will play a vital role in supporting our Assistant Facilities Manager in delivering exceptional facility management services to our clients. You will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day technical operations, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring that building systems function efficiently. At JLL, we believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and in this position, you'll have the opportunity to contribute innovative solutions while growing your technical expertise. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to maintain facility standards that meet or exceed client expectations.

What this job involves:

  • Assist the Assistant Facilities Manager in overseeing technical building operations and maintenance activities

  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to schedule maintenance, repairs, and inspections

  • Monitor building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety equipment

  • Maintain accurate documentation of technical operations, maintenance records, and compliance reports

  • Respond to and prioritize facility-related service requests and technical issues

  • Conduct regular facility inspections for the managed facilities (offices and warehouses) to identify potential maintenance needs or safety concerns

  • Assess the condition of the managed assets and implement life-cycle replacement where applicable

  • Support the implementation of energy efficiency initiatives and sustainability practices

  • Collaborate with the facilities team to develop and update standard operating procedures for technical systems

  • Support move and change as well as minor project works

  • Participate in emergency response planning and drills related to building systems

Interested?  An ideal candidate would need to have the following qualifications

·       Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field

·       3+ years of experience in facilities operations or building maintenance

·       Knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software

·       Strong organizational and time management skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

·       Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

·       Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

·       Commitment to safety protocols and procedures

 

Preferred Skills

 

·       Technical certifications relevant to building systems or facilities management

·       Knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures

·       Background in the electronics industry or corporate office environments

·       Proficiency in written basis English and Chinese;

·       Knowledge of building codes and regulatory compliance requirements

·       Project coordination experience

·       Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
