Mission Brief

As a Working Student in Test Operations Germany, you will support the team in improving and streamlining test operations for test operations in germany. You will support the development of test infrastructure, contribute to hands-on activities on our test rigs, maintain engineering procedures and documentation, and help optimizing our testing processes. Working closely with engineers and technicians, you will help drive efficiency improvements and support day-to-day test operations. 

Your Role in Our Space Mission: 

  • Maintain and improve test and maintenance procedures 
  • Support the design and implementation of standardized test hardware solutions
  • Participate in test rig maintenance, troubleshooting, and hands-on test activities
  • Assist with CAD work, data migration and technical documentation updates
  • Support Jira-based test tracking, reporting, and KPI automatio

Qualification Checklist 

  • Enrolled student in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • Strong interest in testing, spaceflight hardware, and engineering operations
  • Structured and proactive way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Programming or automation experience (e.g., Python, VBA) 

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar engineering tools
  • Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks
  • Basic knowledge of propulsion systems or fluid systems
