Accountabilities:

    The Senior FP&A Analyst will support financial planning and analysis activities for a portfolio of consumer brands, developing models, forecasts, reports, and strategic insights. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

    • Build and customize financial models for clients, including revenue forecasts, customer and product-level analysis, profit and loss modeling, cost structure analysis, and scenario planning.
    • Develop and maintain financial forecasts to support business planning and strategic decisions.
    • Prepare monthly financial reports by extracting data from accounting systems, reconciling actual results against budgets and forecasts, and analyzing key variances.
    • Maintain and update rolling cash flow forecasts to monitor liquidity trends and identify financial opportunities or risks.
    • Ensure accuracy and consistency across financial models, assumptions, datasets, and reporting outputs.
    • Reconcile revenue, cost of goods sold, and operating expenses across multiple data sources and model structures.
    • Support client onboarding activities, financial model setup, reporting processes, and ongoing finance-related discussions.
    • Conduct performance analysis, including trade spend analysis, ROI evaluation, KPI tracking, and identification of business trends.
    • Present financial insights and recommendations to internal leadership and client stakeholders.
    • Validate forecasting assumptions using historical performance, industry benchmarks, and business initiatives.
    • Identify opportunities to improve financial workflows through automation, AI tools, and process optimization.
    • Troubleshoot financial modeling issues and proactively resolve data inconsistencies.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in FP&A, financial modeling, and business analysis. This role requires advanced technical skills, strong communication abilities, and the confidence to collaborate directly with founders and business leaders.

      • 3+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, consulting, or related roles.
      • Experience working with food and beverage CPG brands, consumer products companies, or similar industries is highly desirable.
      • Advanced to expert-level Excel skills, including pivot tables, SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, data reconciliation, and complex multi-tab financial models.
      • Strong understanding of financial statements, including profit and loss analysis, cash flow forecasting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
      • Experience building, maintaining, and improving detailed financial models.
      • Strong attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and data quality.
      • Ability to independently identify, investigate, and resolve financial inconsistencies.
      • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
      • Ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
      • Comfortable working directly with founders, leadership teams, and clients.
      • Strong analytical mindset with curiosity about business performance, industry trends, and growth drivers.
      • Self-motivated professional who can work independently and manage priorities effectively in a remote environment.
      • Ability to navigate ambiguity, ask the right questions, and take ownership of outcomes.
      • Previous experience in Big Four accounting firms, professional services, or financial advisory environments is a plus.
      • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting platforms is desirable.
      • Knowledge of financial modeling best practices and model architecture is preferred.
