In this role, you will impact the manufacturing process by accurately fabricating components, supporting production goals, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform basic fabrication tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal or other materials according to blueprints and work orders.
- Operate fabrication machinery and hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Inspect fabricated components for quality and adherence to specifications, reporting any defects or discrepancies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company procedures.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in fabrication or manufacturing environments with demonstrated ability to perform basic fabrication tasks.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Experience operating brake press or laser cutting equipment with sheet steel, ensuring precision and safety.
- Strong knowledge of using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Basic understanding of quality inspection and adherence to fabrication standards.
