Our team is looking for a System Engineer to support the U.S. Navy's EA-18G Growler Block I and Growler Block II Programs by supporting software integration testing and systems engineering of the EA-18G’s Airborne Electronic Attack Subsystems. The ideal System Engineer will have a system engineering background to include experience with Electronic Attack and experience working with software requirements (including developing and executing test plans to verify software requirements). We are looking for a highly motivated candidate that enjoys leading teams, learning complex systems, and solving problems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on complex electronic warfare systems alongside a multi-disciplinary team. We are looking for an individual that is passionate, driven, a self-starter, and goal oriented. All tasking will be performed at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office. What you’ll get to do:Support software coding and development by performing software integration, regression, and verification testing for an EW systemDevelop complex test procedures to verify subsystem level requirementsAnalyze system designs and participate in subsystem requirements developmentIdentify software problems, support follow-on investigations, and provide technical solutionsWork as part of an Agile teamCollaborate with our customer, internal NGC sites, and other technical disciplinesParticipate and contribute to peer reviews, critical milestone reviews, and technical inter-change meetingsThis position can be filled at the Systems or Principal System level based on the requirements below:Basic Qualifications for Systems Engineer:BS in STEM related field with 2+ years of relevant experience or MS in STEM related fieldEmbedded software test development experienceExperience in Airborne Electronic AttackExperience with requirements management databases (e.g., DOORS) Experience in developing software test plans and directing testing activitiesFamiliarity with Atlassian software development and collaboration tool set (Jira and Confluence)US CitizenActive U.S. Secret Clearance.Ability to work onsite fulltimeBasic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer:BS in STEM...
