Thousands of merchants rely on our payment solutions every day. As we continue expanding our POS and PAY offerings, we're looking for a Product Designer who can turn complex merchant needs into products that are intuitive, reliable, and commercially impactful. What you'll doYou'll join our growing, international product design team and own design across the surfaces merchants depend on every day — whether that's POS software on tablet and mobile, the in-person commerce flows around it, or the payment-acceptance layer where a card is tapped and a transaction is confirmed, reconciled, and understood. These surfaces are the merchant's busiest and the details matter: a confusing settings menu, a slow checkout flow, or an opaque payment failure costs them real trust and real sales on a peak lunch shift. Your job is to make those moments fast, clear, and intuitive — improving quality of life for merchants and the staff who depend on them, and helping our products hold up as we expand into new markets. What success after 3 months looks like:Built real knowledge of merchant needs from field visits, not just secondhand notesShipped customer-centric designs informed by data and merchant feedbackEstablished a working rhythm with the PMs and engineers you partner withContributed to our design system rather than working around itBecome fluent in our AI prototyping process and use it to move ideas quicklyStarted tracking the impact of your work and pushing the refinements that followWho you areHow you think matters more to us than how many years you've worked or which frameworks you know. What defines us is a genuine commitment to staying close to the people we're designing for: merchant visits, country trips, sharing early and often, and designing in the open to be inspired by and learn from each other. We make space for the bigger conversations too — not just critique of the work, but strategy, growth, and the things that shape how we design. How we work is shaped by the people who join — one designer introduced a buddy program pairing colleagues across domains and seniority levels, and that kind of thing actually sticks here. Growth conversations are built in, kindness is a given, and there's a real seat at the table for someone who wants to help shape what this team becomes. We're also in the middle of a genuine shift in how design work happens. We've built internal AI tools that let designers prototype with our own product components in minutes, synthesise months of behavioural data into clear user stories, and run market research at scale. We've brought in external coaches, send designers to conferences, run a company hackathon twice a year, and give everyone dedicated time, an open AI budget, and a mandate to experiment. We want teammates who are genuinely curious about what AI means for the designer's craft...
