The Role
Experience Strategists take an experience-first approach to uncover and deliver value for customers. With a unique blend of business acumen, technical knowledge, and psychology, the strategist leads organizations through complex challenges by identifying paths to value. They uncover strategic opportunities through research, experience frameworks, design actionable roadmaps, and guide teams through the organizational and business implications of these experiences. Kyndryl Vital Experience Strategists strive for innovative yet practical solutions.
As an Experience Strategist at Kyndryl Vital US you will lead design initiatives across a variety of projects, ensuring that solutions are innovative, user-friendly, and aligned with client objectives.
You will develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted design advisor throughout the project lifecycle. You will guide design teams in the creation of high-quality visual and interactive designs, ensuring the final product meets business and user needs. Partnering with technical teams, you will balance creative ideas with technical feasibility, ensuring designs are practical and scalable. You will take ownership of the design process, from discovery and ideation to prototyping and user testing, ensuring consistent delivery of impactful designs. As a senior member of the Design Strategy team, you will also own the development and scope of new Kyndryl Vital consulting and pitch opportunities.

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
10+ years experience
Deep industry vertical experience
Experience in both enterprise and agency worlds
Business development and project scoping experience, ideally within a consulting or professional services context
Knowledge and experience in IT infrastructure or other technical applications
Human behavior, change management, or other applied social sciences
Data science, AI/ML background

Required Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent portfolio

The compensation range for the position in the U.S. is - $138,480 to $263,160 based on a full-time schedule.
Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately. The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city or local minimum wage requirement.
There is a different applicable compensation range for the following work locations:
California:$152,400to$315,720
Colorado: $138,480to$263,160
New York City: $166,200to$315,720
Washington: $152,400to$289,440
Washington DC:$152,400to$289,440
This position will be eligible for Kyndryl’s discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl’s applicable plans. You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave, and paid time off. Note: If this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.
