Accountabilities:

    As Director of Sales & Business Development, you will lead commercial growth initiatives by developing strategic partnerships, managing enterprise sales opportunities, and driving revenue expansion across the financial services sector.

    • Own the complete enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to proposal development, contract negotiation, and client onboarding.
    • Manage a portfolio of high-value target accounts, including banks, acquirers, PSPs, and digital wallets, ensuring disciplined pipeline development and successful deal execution.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders, positioning the company as a trusted payments infrastructure partner.
    • Lead complex commercial negotiations, creating solutions that align customer needs with long-term business objectives.
    • Develop tailored engagement strategies, including presentations, ROI models, business cases, and competitive positioning materials.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Customer Operations to ensure successful customer transitions.
    • Gather market intelligence, customer feedback, and industry insights to influence product strategy and commercial priorities.
    • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and performance reporting for senior leadership.
    • Represent the organization at industry events, customer meetings, and strategic business discussions.
    • Support the development and execution of go-to-market strategies by identifying emerging opportunities, competitive trends, and market shifts.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced enterprise sales professional with strong knowledge of payments, fintech, and financial institutions, combined with exceptional negotiation and relationship-building abilities.

      • 7+ years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or similar commercial roles within B2B payments, banking, fintech, or related industries.
      • Proven track record of closing enterprise-level deals, especially with banks, acquirers, payment providers, or large financial institutions.
      • Strong understanding of Latin American payment ecosystems, including banking infrastructure, regulatory environments, clearing systems, and market dynamics.
      • Native Spanish and advanced English proficiency required.
      • Brazilian Portuguese proficiency is considered a plus.
      • Strong knowledge of Artificial Intelligence tools and practical understanding of AI agents.
      • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce and productivity tools such as Google Workspace.
      • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
      • Ability to manage complex sales processes involving multiple decision-makers and long enterprise cycles.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build financial models, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
      • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working independently in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
      • Experience selling payment technology, acquiring, issuing, or financial infrastructure solutions is preferred.
      • Existing relationships within Latin American financial institutions are highly desirable.
      • MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
